I began making jigs at the age of 11. The name “Hopper Jigs” is inspired by my grandfather’s original business, Hopper Worms, which he started in the 1980s in Riverbank, California. My motivation for launching this business was to carry on his legacy while meeting the evolving needs of today’s bass anglers. Bass fishing has been a part of the Hopper family for generations- my father, Jason Hopper, continued the tradition and passed down his knowledge and techniques to me. I’ve been fishing competitively in the Mother Lode region for several years now.

My goal is to build the ideas of fellow anglers by offering unique jig colors and styles- something different to keep in your tackle box. While my jigs may look classic at first glance, I can guarantee they are handcrafted with high-quality materials, whether you’re fishing in tournaments or just out on the water for fun.
